The Theatre club presents Michael Frayn's Broadway and West End hit "Noises Off" - a farce within a farce that recounts the misadventures of a third rate British theatre troupe as they tour a sex farce entitled "Nothing On".
This comedy - within - a - comedy gives a fond insight into the follies of theatre folk, whose susceptibility to out - of -control egos, memory loss, and passionate affairs turn every performance into a high risk adventure.
Hampered by many things - but particularly their lack of talent, the cast and crew lamely carry on for their caustic, valium popping director and "progress" from fluffed lines and missed cues in the dress rehearsal; to mounting friction and romance between cast members in the final performance.
There is some strong language used and the performance is not recommended for children.
