NODA North award winning Alnwick Theatre Club presents The Vicar Of Dibley.
A stage adaptation by Ian Gower and Paul Carpenter, Based on the original TV series, written by Richard Curtis and Paul Mayhew Archer, produced by Tiger Aspect Productions.
After the death of the Reverend Pottle in the traditional village of Dibley, the Dibley Parish Council eagerly await the arrival of their new Vicar, much to their surprise and much to Councillor David Horton’s horror, in walks Geraldine Granger, their new female vicar!
As she seeks to earn their approval and navigates her newly forming relationships with her parishioners, Geraldine adapts to her new life surrounded by these lovely, if not unique, bunch of villagers.
In this production of the Vicar of Dibley, you will find it is filled with a lot of humour and warmth, as you follow Geraldine on her journey being a woman vicar in an old school English village.
Alnwick Theatre Club performs in Alnwick Playhouse.

To be a full member you need to be aged 16 years and over. We do also welcome younger actors particularly for the pantomime but where you are below 16 you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is a fully paid up member. This is to ensure everyone is covered by our insurance whilst in the theatre.
There is plenty of scope for new members whether you want to audition for a principal role, sing in the pantomime chorus or help out backstage.
